I just started birth control a week and a half ago. I got my period 2 sundays ago and I've been on my period for 11 days now. Im scared because I've never had a long period like this. Its not a heavy period, it's a light period. At first it was heavy and then it got light so I thought it was going to end.. but its still going on. Also I might add that I have irregular periods..

This is something you should phone your doctor about. It may have something to do with the new hormonal levels in your body. But this is something your doctor should know about.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you. I think its just hormone levels.. im on day 15 and still going! I started taking the pill on day 1 of my cycle. Hopefully its going to get back to normal!
