Looking for toilet - distance between finish wall & floor drain is only 4"
I bought a foreclosure with sophisticated plumbing and the toilet was stolen from the home. The distance between the finish wall and the center of the floor drain "RI" in the bathroom is 4" and I can't find toilet to fit. The plumbing stores have told me that it doesn't exist but I do know that a toilet existed there at one point. Does anyone know of a toilet that can fit?

Nope doesn't exist, not even if you turn the toilet sideways. Can you post a picture? I don't think you are looking at a toilet flange 4" from a wall, no toilet would fit unless you used a TOTO with a Unifit adapter mounted backwards

A backwards Toto unifit adapter would require the toilet to be installed backwards, too Bob... otherwise, the adapter would stick out the back of the toilet... ;)

Need a picture here, for sure!

What we really need is a picture of then open drain. This is beginning to sound more like a bidet drain rather then a toilet. Hey! You're the one that told us you had "sophisticated plumbing" installed. What size is the drain opening? Back to you, Tom
