Cop wrote me a ticket to appear on 4/17/13 so I went to court on the day I assumed officer meant 4/17/12 the court has no record of the ticket, what are my options?

You could contact the officer for clarification, but that could tip him/her off that he/she missed the hearing. I would be inclined to let sleeping dogs lie.
