Congrats! Your body is going to be going through a great many changes, especially in the next several weeks. Having some light cramping can be normal. In fact, some women will feel as though their period is about to start because they have cramps similar to those during pms.

It would be wise to consult your midwife or doctor should you experience severe or consistent cramping. It doesn't always mean there is a concern, but it would be best to have it checked.
