    If there is a civil summons for you from a bank that you have a loan through,what could it mean?

    It could mean that you are not paying and they are sueing you to get a judgement for payment. Assuming you are being summoned as a defendant not as a witness.

    Did you bother to read the summons? What does it say?

    Basically a Civil summons is an order to respond to a Civil court case. The nature of that response would be detailed in the summons.
