You are a virgin until a penis is placed inside of your vagina. Hymens break for a number of reasons OTHER than sex. Horseback riding can break a vagina, sports can break a vagina.

As long as you have never had sex you are still a virgin whether you have a hymen or not.

Sorry, but no. We do understand different cultural mores, but the facts are are not about cultural and social mores but about biology and science. Virginity is defined as penile insertion. No penile insertion then virginity is intact.

But it is a fact that hymens can break due to reasons other than penile insertion. It is also a fact that even if the hymen is intact it is not a given that the man can tell. Not all women will bleed upon the hymen breaking. So, your culture is asking the physical and cultural impossibility. The only way to tell if there is an intact hymen is by examination by an OB/Gyn.
