I bought a Bush btvd91186b from argos in January - it was working fine till last Wednesday - I tried to turn it on but it wouldn't come on either with the remote or the TV buttons. I took it back to argos on Saturday and the guy said he had to check it - it came on fine - brought it back home - two and a half hour round trip - and it came on - tried to turn it on Sunday monring and no chance - if I take it back to argos and it goes on they won't replace it - what am I to do? Is this maybe a common fault.

It could be your power board or main board. Just explain to them that after it is plugged in and used for a while it intermittently will not turn on. If they refuse to do anything about it, inform them that you would like to speak to a manager. Just keep escalating things until they take care of you. Intermittent problems are still problems.
