He wants time to figure things out...
I have been seeing this guy for 3 months or so now. During a conversation we had early on, we talked about fantasys... he asked if I had done certain things and I answered truthfully. From then on, he was stuck on my past. He wanted to experience the same things. About a month ago I had cancelled my profile on the dating site we met on and found that he had posted a new picture on his profile. My mind began to wonder... why? He was to the point he was saying "I love you". I confronted him and from that moment on he was no longer available on Yahoo messenger where prior to me asking he was available 24/7. Now he says he needs time to figure things out. Meaning is it my past that he wants or is it the Me now. How long am I to wait? Am I being played? I just don't feel like he knows the true me to be able to make a decision. He says he cares and doesn't want to do the wrong thing and see me get hurt. I care for him a lot. Do I give him his space? Or do I call it quits and move on?

If it were me, I would move on. Someone doesn't say I love you and runs if they truly did love you.

You move on as why even trip over the actions of a stranger you met on line? Its enough he changed his mind. The reasons are his own. Maybe he just made a better on line hook up!

If it's that important, ask directly, instead of assume, or presume.

When someone says they need time to figure it, it usually refers to a break up. Don't waste your time, move on with your life and leave this guy in the past. If he figures out what he wants, he might realize how important you are to him, he might come back for you. By then you can decide whether you can take him back or not but most likely by then you would have already moved on and not want to go back to the past.

You give him ALL the space, forever, go NO contact and move on.

Lesson learned: don't tell your current partner your past sexual experiences... there is NO reason why he/she needs to know that. No reason at all.
