2004 Buick Lesabre. Smelled gas when car is first started. Went away after car warmed up some.
Thoughts:
It may be that the spark plugs (ACDelco only) need replacing, if they have not been changed in 50,000 miles. It could also be caused by a bad Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor. They can waste a tremendous amount of fuel, if they are bad. It's always a good thing to check for codes. There may be a "soft code" that has not caused the CEL to come on, yet, which will give you a "heads up."
