    Vistation rights for newborn
Are there any laws for a father to get newborn child

It is called visitation order from family court. Once the child is born, ( many fathers have their attorneys have papers ready to file as soon as child is born) to request either joint custody or visits.

What do you mean by "get". If you are referring to visitation, then yes, the father is entitled to visitation. However, visitation with a newborn may be constrained to provide for feeding issues etc. If you are referring to custody, then its unusual, but possible for the father to be awarded primary custody if the courts feel its in the best interests of the child.

BTW ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

Also is the child born yet? If not any proceedings unless having to be for proactive purposes (extremely limited) has to wait for the child to be born.
