    Could I be pregnant?
My husband and I are trying to get pregnant and have been for about 8 months or so. I started having all the symptoms of pregnancy(nausea, heartburn, fatique, headaches, frequ ent urinating, breast tenderness, moodiness). So I took a home test and it was negative, then the next day I started cramping but my period is not due until Feb 28th or March 7th. (It is always on one or the other) That went for two days now no cramps. I have also had clear discharge(quite a bit). So am I pregnant or just wishful thinking?

When exactly did u take the test? The best time to take the test is about a week after a missed period. Wait a week then take another one. If that comes out negative then wait another week. If you still do not start your period or have a positve test then go to the doctor as other problems could be at concern. Hope everything turns out for you! Good luck and best wishes!

(ps) if you can absolutely not wait... then go have a blood test done during the first week of march or around the end of this month. They should be able to give you a positive result if you really are pregnant, because a blood test can detect pregnancy after 10 days past ovulation.

Also remember to take the HPT using first morning urine, it is more accurate that way no matter what time of day the box says to take it.

If you were pregnant it's a little early to be having symptoms. Yo are almost a week away from your period, which means you would only have conceived a week or so ago, not really long enough to be experiencing symptoms. It could be wishful thinking. I would wait until you have missed a period and take a test. It is far too early to take one yet so you won't get an accurate result anyway. You might be pregnant, but its just too early to tell, the cramping could just be because your period is close. Depending on where you live, most doctors won't do blood tests unless necessary as they are expensive. Its owrth asking, but it is a waste of money if you end up getting your period. Good luck, hope you get the answer you want!

That's not true. A lot of women have pregnancy symptoms as soon as they conceive.

It takes a while for the hormone levels to build up in your body to have any symptoms whatsoever. The earliest would be a week to 2 weeks to begin having symptoms.

Conception happens the moment the sperm breaks through the egg. So, symptoms cannot happen that soon. But in some women they do happen earlier than in others. And every pregnancy is different too.
