    Clogged line / plumbing
    I live in a modular home my kitchen drain cloged up I snaked the pipe 50 ft but water is still in the sink, I looked under the house and found some insulation had gotton into by a animal where the lines run from the dishwasher,what could I have not done to get rid of the clog?

    Hi Army

    It is possible that instead of going down the drain you went UP the vent... ;) Rent an electric snake with a "drop head" on it and try again.

    When snaking, plan on going in and out about 5 times to clear the drain line real well.

    You should NOT have to snake into the drain 50 feet with any modular home that I have seen... just far enough to reach a larger drain line that toilets and other drains connect into and that are draining well, OK?

    Another option would be to simply snake from the kitchen roof vent. Put out enough snake to reach the base and 16 more feet. Good luck. Tom
