    Child support father in Prison
My children's father is in prison so I'm not getting any child support. I heard that it may be possible for me to receive a check monthly out of the social security money he's paid beginning with the first job he ever had. He was working when he went in to prison and has never needed to live on social security nor has he ever received a check from it. Is this true?

I believe a convicted prisoner is not eligible for Social Security and one must be at least 60 years old to draw benefits anyway, so I doubt it. Have you asked the Social Security Administration?
