    What should I do?
My boyfriend and I have been dating for a month. Not very long, but he says he's in love with me and wants to marry me etc. I haven't gotten there yet but I feel that I definitely could.
He's sweet and caring and funny. He's a good boyfriend when we're together.
Sometimes he will go days without talking, texting, or seeing me. I usually call him but he cuts the call short and tells me he's going to call me back but never does. When we make plans he cancels last minute. Friends and family tell me he's just playing games. Half of me wants to see how things turn out but the other half wants to end things now before I end up with a heartbreak.

Talk to him and tell him how you feel. If he truly loves you then he will make you happy. Believe me, you want to be first in someone's life because you are worth it. If he changes and decides he wants you then good. If not he isn't worth your time. I have the opposite problem with my girlfriend.

Two things matter a lot: how old you each are, and how much you contact him.
If you are under 25, I would say cool the thoughts of marriage, regardless of what he says, because one month is just not enough time.
If you text him once a day, he shouldn't cut you off unless he's at work, and it seems reasonable that 2 people in love should want to talk once a day. So I am a wee bit suspicious. Are you? Of another woman? If he just has a lot of friends, why aren't you part of the group?
If you text him once an hour, you aren't letting him breathe and have fun or do what things he has to do. A sure way to drive someone away, man or woman.
Still, I'm wondering if this guy is a lot of sweet talk while he plays the field a little.

Not good if its only been a month, and have these issues. Obviously you have not developed any honest communications, and I am always suspicious of those who use the love/marriage words so soon, but don't have the actions that match the words.

If talking doesn't bring about changes, what's the point in dating?
