I sometimes have a brown/bloody discharge between periods, is something wrong?
I'm 19 and I noticed that sometimes I get a brown or slightly bloody discharge between my periods. It doesn't smell, I'm not burning and I only maybe sometimes get slight pain but nothing over-bearingly horrible. I heard that sometimes this just comes from ovulation but I just wanted to get a second opinion. This is different from the normal "cleansing" discharge and it does happen every cycle. Its not an abnormal scarey amount of discharge (like a normal period) but I wear a pantyliners sometimes because it is annoying. I've never had a Pap smear before because I recently changed from a pediatrician when I turned 18. Me and my boyfriend are both virgins and we've never had full sexual intercourse, we stick to oral stimulation. Sorry for prattling I just want a second opinion please.
