I visited my local clinic today and my doctor has changed my meds from Follistism to Menogon as I wasn't responding well.

The follistism was administered through IM. But the nurse instructed and showed my husband how to give the Menogon injections Intradermal (between the skin layers)... I've never heard of an injection given this way before... just IM or subcutaneous

Are the injections just as effective this way ?

Also I've read that IM released the meds a lot faster then subcutaneous injections do.

So how quickly will the Intradermal injections release the meds?
