I am 30. My Husband-to-be and myself have been trying to conceive since we miscarried a little over 1 1/2 yrs ago. I was soppose to receive my period on April 13th and my LMP was march 14th. I am currently 8 days late and I'm like clock work and can detect when I get my period. Have taken 2 hpt and both negative. Had breast tenderness 2 days before missed period (no now tenderness), a few cramps here and there since missed period and mild white discharge. No other symptoms. No pms, no stress... haven't been late in over a year. I am wondering could there be a chance I am pregnant and just to early to pick up the hcg levels yet? And when should I test again?

Yes, it is possible that the test didn't pick it up yet. It is also possible that is it just an off cycle.

Wait another week and see what happens. If still no period, try another test. If negative, you could either see your doctor or wait until next month (if you can stand the wait!) and see if you were just skipping a period for April. If a period doesn't show for May, then see your doctor.

Certainly if you were to notice any other possible pregnancy symptom, see your doctor.
