    If you owe the money and they obtained a court order, then yes, they can clean out your account if its less than what you owe. Why would you think otherwise?

    Yes, they don't actually put you in the negative, but if you have checks written out when they freeze the account, you can end up in the negative.

    But this is normally done by past due child support not current support.
    For current they would merely garnish your wages. But if you have money in the bank, you should have been paying your past due support.

    And in some states, like TN you will end up in jail if you don't pay your back support.
