You should call the plumbing agency so they can check if your water isn't contaminated

Lets start with the simple cure. Dump a few cups of water down the drain. Smell better now? Very likely your trap for the floor drain has dried up allowing sewer gas in. Refilling the trap should eliminate the problem. If no, let us know.

Because the "helpful/inaccurate " is unusable I have posted my reason for thinking that anysabells post was without merit. The way it's been changed I doubt that many of us will be looking up a URL to justify the reason we thought the post was trash. I know this will be my last time.

1- This complaint was about a drainage problem not a potable water problem.
2- the reason people use us is because they don't want to call a plumbing agency.
