    It is a request normally filed in court ( verbal request) that evidence is accepted without proof.
    If called into issue, your support it by case law where that evidence was previously accepted as a fact. And or proof that it is a fact. ( but then it defeats the request, since you have had to prove it.

    Examples, location of Mable St in Atlanta GA, that is a given fact. How Radar works for speed detection is an accepted fact, the officer or DA does not have to prove radar works.
    DNA evidence or Fingerprint are merely facts accepted by judicial notice

    Depending on the rules and practice of whatever court you are in, a pretrial order or other such ruling may require that you ask for judicial notice of specific facts in advance of the trial.
