    Daughter Issues
My daughters fiancé called me and needed to talk about some issues the two of them were having. I mostly listened, but also spoke about things. My daughter is now mad at me because she thinks I talked behind her back. Nothing was done intentionally. How do I get her to get over her anger?

Hun, wld ignore the anger for now, she will get over it soon enough, all kids think that mums are interferring, when we only want to help... have you explained the fiancé called you... its nice he can do that with you... maybe she just needs to realise that to x

Did you give advice, did you talk to your daughter about things he said, did you tell her he called

I did not really give any advice. Just told him that they need to clear things up before they get married. He was telling me about his past and his sister and stuff. I mentioned to him that we had some problems with her when she was a teenager with drugs, but she pulled herself through. I guess she only told him that she was not a very good daughter back then. I did not tell her anything that he said and she did not ask. He probably told her because he is very honest and open. She is mad at me because I talked about her behind her back and that I crossed the line. Which I did not intentionally, just was helping out. She does know that he called me. But I guess that does not matter. Its all my fault! HOw can I get her to see that I was just being there for her fiancé.
