My boyfriend recently told me he is an alcoholic. We have been together 3 years and we work seasonally in party ski and surf resorts- so everyone is drinking a lot anyway.
I have never thought he had any sort of problem with drink and he has previously lied to me about having manic depression when he doesn't.
I don't want to dis-believe him about something so serious but I don't know if it's a cry for help about something else?
What sort of things should I e looking for?

If you also don't see a issue with people drinking a lot you may have a issue with alcoholism also. And to be honest one drunk often does not see the problem with another one.
