Brown discharge 2 weeks after period
I was the birth control patch for about 8 months and then I stopped because there was an issue with my insurance and I couldn't get it anymore I had my period onApril 5 and its now April 18th and I'm getting a brownish discharge and I'm cramping kind of like my period but not as bad What is going on with my body? Am I pregnant?

Brown discharge usually indicates old blood. It's not that unusual, and happens to a lot of people.

It's possible that this is happening because you just went off the patch, and it's causing a change in your cycle. But then, pregnancy is also a possibility.

You'll have to wait until your next period is due, see what happens. If you miss it, then try a pregnancy test (make sure to follow the directions exactly).

I haven't been on birth control for about 2 months now and my boyfriend and I have had unprotected sex since then I had my period on April 5 is it possible that I could have gotten pregnant from then and until now?

Yes, it's possible. Even while you were on birth control pregnancy was possible. No birth control is 100% effective.

You yourself said you've been having unprotected sex for the last 2 months, so you increased your risk of pregnancy by a great deal.

It's too early to test, so you'll have to wait and see what your next period is like. That's really your only option.

If you're not trying to conceive then I would highly recommend that you find an alternate form of birth control, but realize that nothing is 100%. But, unprotected sex, well, that's just a way of saying that you're actively trying to conceive, and it will happen eventually.
