I realize I am jumping the gun, but I got the mirena implant in 09 and had it removes 4/13/12. On 4/14 I had a lot of discharge and it abruptly stopped and since has been spotting of a brownish or pink color. Before mirena had regular 28 day cycles and aftyer mirena was implanted just spotted ALL the time never heavy just all the time. Was that my period or am I just too anxious to get baby on the way. Any help is appreciated!

Your body has had a lot to cope with in the last little while... relax on the whole baby thing till your body has a chance to recover from the mirena, there are going to be up's and downs with your hormones, your uterus needs to adjust to not having a foreign object in it, give yourself a little bit of healing time...
That being said the discharge and spotting you experienced was probably just your body trying to adjust to having the IUD and the hormone it released, removed. Your cycles will get back to normal soon enough.
