How can I stop being so sweet and dumb and make him tell me what's really going on. I have always had a problem with men. I make them my world. What should I do? I'm 46. I should know better!

Maybe because you're not ready for a relationship. I think you need to be single and get yourself a life: good career, good friends, good hobbies and when you're ready, you ll know that having someone in your life is not the most important thing even though it's good.

Stay out of relationships and just make friends and build a life that you enjoy so much, you just won't share it, or give it up for any one. Sometimes hopeless romantics forget the reality of life.
