I started spotting on the 1st then my cycle got heavy on the 2nd I finished on 5th. Is spotting considered starting your period? I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on the 7th he came inside me then on the 10th we had sex again and he came inside me again if spotting is comsidered starting your period then on the 10th I was highy fertilized and if its not then the 11th I was highy fertilized. Coukd I be pregnant? How soon can I take a test?

You definitely could be pregnant. Almost every woman normally gets one last period before she realizes. It happened to me w both my kids and I was on the pill... Take your test if you don't receive your next period unless you take an early response test...

Actually, your info isn't accurate at all. Most women do not have "one last period" when they're actually pregnant. It is true that your period continues until you conceive, but once you do, most women will not have a period.

Also, the early response tests are crap. The majority of women won't test positive on a pregnancy test for weeks, sometimes over a month after conception. Those that get a positive from an early response test are few and far between.

To the OP (original poster). Spotting is usually the first step of a period. You stated that you spotted, then your period came on heavy. So yes, I would consider this a period. If you had only spotted, without a heavy flow, then it would be unusual. But what you described is not unusual at all.

As for being pregnant, of course it's possible. You had unprotected sex. Even with protection, pregnancy is possible.

It's way too early to consider testing now. You'll have to do what every other woman in the world does, and that's wait and see. If you miss your next period, try a pregnancy test. Make sure to follow the directions exactly, especially using first morning urine.

Until then, there's really no way for anyone to know if you are or aren't pregnant. You'll have to wait.
