    Avoid Pregnancy
    Hi,

Me and my wife had sex 2 weeks back using the 'withdrawl', my wife has missed her periods. She had never missed a period in her life. We did the pregnancy test using a kit which was negative. How can we make sure that she is not pregnant, also is there any birth control method other than abortion that we can use now in case the other tests are positive. Kindly reply we need urgent counselling.

    Regards,
    Amit

NO, you'll need to wait and take further tests.

What do you call people that use the withdrawal method... Parents!!

How late is she for her period? If only several days, give it another week and see if her period is just late this cycle. If still no period, try another pregnancy test. Be sure to follow the directions carefully. She could also see her doctor for a test there. They may do a blood test as well.

If she is pregnant, there is no way to change that other than an abortion.

The withdrawal method is not considered a very reliable birth control method as it can be difficult to use, takes a good deal of control, and is often not used properly. If she is not pregnant, you may want to discuss with the doctor other methods which would lessen the chance of an unplanned pregnancy. Keep in mind that no method of birth control will be 100% effective, so pregnancy will always be a possibility.
