I got a new apartment and my ex paid the deposite for it and he had to sign the lease since I wasn't there.I signed it another day. He has text me and told me the apartment was mine and he wanted nothing to do with it and I paid first months rent, Now he is telling me he was to move into the second bedroom and I have to let him in because he paid the deposite for it. Is that true? Even if I have text stating he didn't want it and he was going to call and get his name off the lease.
