    Order for substitued service was appended to front door--how many days do I wait?
    After server put answer order for substitued on door, how many days do I count waitting for them to answer back

    Sorry, but you will have to be more clear.

    You are the defendant or the plaintiff?

    What was attached to the door by the process server, an "order for substituted servce", or an answer, or something else?

    And who are "them", the person(s) who were served with process?

    How many days you have to wait depends upon the civil rules for wherever you are.

    Where? I own and operate a process service company.

    Did you get an Order, a Summons, something else?

    And as "AK" said, did you file a claim (the Plaintiff) or are you responding (the Defendant)?

    There is no such thing as an Answer Order.

    Is it an Order allowing "sub" service? What does it say exactly?

    One of my favorite commercials of the season. At first, unsure of himself, he interrogates her. Then, when he has concluded that she's breaking the rules, as he understands them, he makes his protest.

    That kid will be an attorney some day. :)
