I have a troybilt LtX 14 hydro w/ Briggs/ Stratton Vanguard it will not start, I bypassed the seat swithch, Good battery if I bypass the starter switch it turns over but no power to ignition coil

Hi,
Should not have power to the coil, should just open the ground. Voltage to the coil will destroy it.
Could use some model numbers, like the 13xxx Troy-bilt number.
