Hello, I am using the Emailchemy software for the 1st time and I have completely no idea what I am doing. I am a student and the assignment calls for me to take my Gmail email, transfer it to Emailchemy and then export the converted emails to Thunderbird. I am using Mac OsX. I am stuck at Step 1: What kind of email do you want to convert to? Am I suppose to download my email to Thunderbird first? When I look at the Emailchemy manual I get the impression that my gmail mail have to be on my computer first before any conversion takes place.

I must admit I'm slightly confused here as e-mails from Gmail do NOT need converting to be readable in T'bird, in fact I can't think of any that would...
