6 days ago I had unprotected sex, which was also the last day of my period. I am normally taking the Yasmin pill but I didn't have a new pack to start again for this month, and I am aware I should have used extra precaution but I cannot turn back time! It is now 6 days later and I am now experiencing some blood, brown and red as though it is the beginning of a period, which obviously it isn't. Is it likely I'm pregnant? I really would rather not be but of course if I am WHAT DO I DO!

It's possible, especially since you got off schedule with your pills, and birth control is not 100% effective. However, the bleeding can also be due to the very same reason.

See what happens when you would expect your next period. If it doesn't show, you can try a pregnancy test at that point. Right now would be too early to find out.

Thank you, I'm going to do some research on what the effects are when you go of your pill. Got really bad cramps at the moment and can't stop thinking about it! I don't really want to wait another 3 weeks until my period, so maybe when its been 2 weeks after I had unprotected sex ill do a home pregnancy test. Xx

Im in the same situation as you.
Last day of my period, didn't take the Yasmin pill.
6 days later, experiencing a little bit of bloating (wouldnt call it cramps), and light bleeding.
Just had a pregnancy test and as expected it came out negative but I think its too early to know.
What ended up happening to you.
Im sooooo scared I'm pregnant specially because I go away to america for a month next Friday!!
