I had what I believe is a tooth infection and was put on cephilixin eight days ago. The pain in my mouth is gone, but I still have some preassure on my ear and some puffy glands. Should I be wondering or looking into something but a tooth infection, and is my girlfriend safe to kiss me?

Your tooth wasn't infected but your gums and jaw probably were/are. Did your doctor do a culture, that drug only works on bacterial infections and you may have a viral infection since you still have swelling. You need to consult your doctor and hold off on the kissing until the doctor nails down what you have.

Ewww.. get your tooth infection corrected BEFORE you kiss ANYONE! Gross!
