I was wondering how do you handle an affair that's over when you work with that person?I have to see my ex lover every day at work.Few months ago another manager gave me an assignment to do but a few weeks later the same person said don't worry about I have something else for you to do.Come to find out my ex lover who has a title gave that assignment to someone else.I'm not sure if ex-lover did that intentional or did hr feel the other person was better for the job.During a meeting I kinds showed upset and you can tell I was bothered.The ec says I know it's been tough day but before we come here we got to brush some things off before we come there.Now,here's my thing my being upset have nothing to do between the sheets and I'm sure he knows that.Should I contact him or tell him about it and vent or do nothing?

Unless he starts doing things that effect your job security, I wouldn't worry so much about it.
Perhaps this time it was just that he felt this other person did better.
If you really feel the need to talk to him, then do so.
