Should you keep bad teeth as long as you can
I have infected teeth, but wouldlike to keep thema as long as I can because I am pretty young and would like to keep jaw structure. I was thinking maybe getting antibiotics and putting off extractions. Is this a good idea?

Infected or rotted? Infections of the gums and jaw can be treated with antibiotics but decay is another matter. Judy's question is important to answer at this point

Dental infections can cause more serious problems, bacteria can travel through the blood stream and affect your heart. Decay can be taken care of with dental fillings, root canals or whatever your dentist sees fit.
Both problems can cause pain and discomfort.
Either way you need to see your dentist about the problem
