We atr in our late 30ties and we have been dating for a month,and it is the firstime I made a mistake like this,in fact this was going to be our first date in a quiete place where we would know each other more!

Well that is still a silly reason to ignore you.
He could be using this as an excuse to end the relationship or he is just a childish person. Do you want to be in a relationship with someone like this?
