IRS office ITIN submission and proof
    Hi,

Today I submitted my wife's w7 application along with my federal tax return. I wanted to know what is the proof of my tax return being filed. I only got the w7 copy that has photocopy saying IRS received. Does this count as a proof of you tax being submitted?

    Thanks for the help

    There is no receipt given.

When you receive the ITIN letter or the refund, you know they got it.
