    Broken drain grate
In the deck around my pool there are three drain grates that look very similar to the attached. Two of them are broken (grates are broken). It appears that these grates slip inside the pvc pipe and sit flush on top of the deck. But it also appears that they're glued in place. How the heck to you replace/fix something like this?

I hate to say you're screwed but you're screwed! The PVC grate is welded into the floor drain and can't
Be removed. That leaves you with two options,
    1. Take up the deck and replace the floor drains. **OR**
    2. Purchase metal grates, (see image) with holes for screws. Sand and take the PVC down to the deck. Place the grates over the holes and mark the screw holes.
You may now use TapCons or plastic inserts to secure the grates to the deck. Good luck, Tom
