    Suing Kentucky police for harassment
I live in a small town in Kentucky where everyone knows everyone. My ex-husband and I split about 2 years ago, I started dating someone else, then my ex-husband wanted to get back with me... I didn't want to I was finally happy. We had several friends that are cops, who I am no longer friends with. Some of these cop friends tried to talk me into going back to my ex, even though it was none of their business. Fast forward a year and a half... I feel like my boyfriend and I are being harassed by the City policy and the County Sheriff. My new guy was even arrested on a felony charge but it was thrown out of court because there was no real evidence. I feel like this is never ending and I think that my ex-husband will try to use this to get custody of our children - even though it was dismissed. Is there anything I can do, I feel like the police here are harassing us because of my ex-husbands relationship with them?

Why not move away if you find this is too much for you?

That is, if you think it is all 'smoke and mirrors'

Hello, I am sorry you are going through this experience. Sadly people all over the country go through the same thing you are. Police should not be harassing you and using their power and authority to play sides in your personal relationship. Too often it comes down to your word against theirs. By you adding these officers names and your experiences with them it allows for them to be accountable for their actions. Also it will let others know who are being treated the same way that you are out there, and they are not alone. People can contact each other through the site and do something about it in numbers. Many voices are louder than one. I hope you visit the site, post and it helps you in some way. Thank you for your time.

Are we supposed to guess at the site?

Assuming there is such a site adding someone's name based on other than 100% factual evidence is going to get the OP sued.

I'd like to know what no "real" evidence means.

If they are truly harassing you and you are not sugar coating things for us to make yourself and your boyfriend look completely innocent, then you hire a lawyer and go after them. Sounds tough to sue the police and it is... I did it and won,so it is possible. The only thing I have to say though is to be sure of what you're saying here. If there is any doubt or any thing off in your story, you're wasting your time and money.
