NY underage teen trying to marry
How feasible is it for an underage teenage grl, 14yrs, to marry her 18yr old boyfriend in nyc? Even if she obtains parental consent, how readily does a family court judge grant approval for the marriage? Also, as some background, child services is already looking into the case for endangerment of a minor as the 14 year old ended up in the hospital with vaginal tearing/lacerations (not maliciously inflicted, completely accidental).
Also, should consent not be granted for the marriage, any advice on how to deal with an out of control teenager would be greatly appreciated. The parent of the child is already physically ill and does not necessarily possess the necessary stamina, energy, money or health to deal with a rebelious child.

Not sure of NY law, but if the parents actually sign for it ( and I would like to have a long talk to any that would) but that is all that is needed in our states here, you don't go to family court for any approvval, no background, nothing, the parents sign at the license department and they issue a license, that is all.

And if the teen is that out of control, I would send her to boot camp to get her to understand dispiline.
