Wet Venting a toilet - IPC
Hello,
I am updating the drains in a home we are remodeling. We are adding a bathroom which will have 1 toilet an 1 double sink on the 2nd floor.
In MD and we use IPC I believe.
I would like to do the following, is this legit?
3 inch stack leading up from the basement to the toilet connected using a 90 degree 3x3x2 low heel fitting. The 2 inch portion of the fitting will be positioned at the top to create a wet vent, it will then go horizontally 5 feet to a double sani t which will connect each of the sinks and will continue vertically with a 1.5 inch pipe as the vent through the roof.
Thoughts?
The fitting is:Shop Charlotte Pipe 3" x 3" x 2" PVC DWV 90-Degree Elbow with Low-Heel Inlet at Lowes.com

Wet venting a bathroom group - No Toilet - IPC
Hello,
I am updating the drains in a home we are remodeling. We are updating the drains for a bathroom group with the following on the 2nd floor.
1 tub
1 sink
1 shower base

I would like to do the following, is this legit?
2 inch pipe leading vertically from the basement to a horizontal (slighly sloped) section which will pick up a tub with a 2x2x1.5 wye (laid flat) the 2 inch section continues to pick up a vanity (using a 2x2x2 Y w/ street 45 with the street 45 pointing verically serving as a wete vent), the horizontal section continues on to pick up a 2 inch shower base which is not vented.
Thoughts?
