A 3 year old GE side by side refrigerator, model GSS25LGMB doesn’t want to produce water out of the dispenser. I hear the hum when the water is depressed, but yet no water flows. It’s been an intermediate problem where sometimes the water flows fine, and other times it doesn’t flow at all. Only a hum is heard. The sucker seems to have a mind of its own. Any ideas?

I will be very anxious to get the answer to your post as my Kenmore fridge has been doing the same thing for at least a couple of years. No one has been able to come up with an answer other than that it is possessed.
