Firstly how old are you?
You need to think how well you know this lad and whether you actually love him? Love is a serious commitment for someone who has only been dating a boy for a "little while". Finally it sounds as if he might be playing around with you. His friends shouln't stir, but he should not mess you around. You need to think whether its serious or whether it is just a little crush?

I think you should let him go because if you asked him out and he says no then he deffinitly isn't worth it obviousily doesn't have the same feelings you have for him so it wouldn't work out anyway so find someone you really are compatible too and before you start to devolep any kind of feelings get to know him I mean really know him before you get hurt because you can't read the book by its cover and trust me all guys hide their real pages!
