My TH-42PV60A plazma picture has suddenly gone green and purple colour - no red colour appears - faces and background are sickly green or blue.

Check the video connection, especially if you are using component video cables.

If you still have problems, please provide the make and model along with whether the TV menu is affected.

Thank you for your reply - my son visited yesterday and fiddled with the connections and the TV colour came good, so all solved - would encourage others to check cables and connections before calling serviceman.
