Have L120 that the lights work but it just clicks when trying to start. I see where people have suggested jumping the starter. How is this done?

Take another battery of similar size and same voltage. Connect the red/positive terminals with a jumper cable. Now put the black/negative cable on the black terminal of the battery to be jumped, the other end will be grounded to the frame of the other vehicle just before you try to start. Its going to be important to determine why the old battery died. Could be poor terminal connects, bad alternator of just a too old battery.
