I was 13 days late for my period. I thought I'd come on but it wasn't a normal period, now I've had some drak brownish blood only a little. I don't a test the digital part came back negative but the stick part had two lines on it! I done another 4 test's which all came back negative BUT now my breasts are lumpy and I have milk coming out! Am I pregnant?

It is very possible. Getting a negative result is not unusual esp if done early. Seldom do you get false positive readings.

Take another test first thing in the morning using the first urine of the day.

Thank you. Do you know if milk would come in this early? This would be my 3rd. My first was still born at 36wks my second was born at 32wks and is now 2yrs old.

You can start producing colostrum (first milk) at any point in the pregnancy, though the first trimester is a little unusual. Most women start around 30 weeks or later. There could be a pituitary growth (which is harmless) or some sort of hormonal imbalance

Call your doctor, they will order bloodwork to check for pregnancy and your prolactin level. If prolactin level is elevated, then you will be sent for an MRI scan of your brain to check for a pituitary tumor. If your hCG levels are elevated, then it is most likely a pregnancy. If it is neither of those things, they will be able to give you the best answer for why you are experiencing this.

no. the test is looking for hCG a hormone produced in pregnancy. Birth control pills have the hormones estrogen or progesterone. False negatives are common though, due to faulty tests or operator errors.

Well spent six and a half hour's at a&e yesterday. Had a blood test and pregnancy test both came back negative :-/ thank you for your answers.
