hi, I am on metformin. For the first time in the year I've been on it, I came to work today without it! Ate my breakfast at my desk and have a low carb lunch w/ me for later. I won't be able to take the meds until my dinner time or about 5pm when I get home.

hopefully I won't have any weird reactions but just checking, this means two meals in a row w/out the meds (I take it 3x daily w/ food)...

what do you suggest?

I will from now on leave a card of tablets at work! I changed handbags and that did me in!

I take metformin, have missed with no ill effects. You have no choice but to wait. In fact, missed two days of metformin last weekend and I am a very compliant diabetic and didn't worry. Of course I don't know what other meds you are on.

Most important not to double up though. Just take your normal tablet at supper time.
