Honda civic 2003 EX Little shaking and check engine light
Hi! I have problem with my honda. I never had any problem with the car. It has 78500 miles and now I am having some problems with the engine. When I turn the car It shakes a little bit and then the engine light goes on. After it gets warmer everything is OK. It doesn't shake, doesn't make any weird noise. I took it to the mechanic yesterday, he exchanged Air filter, Oil filter, basic tune up, new spark plugs and coil. After I got the car back everything was running perfectly for one day... I have the same problems back again. The shacking and then the engine check light just doesn't let me sleep in peace. Please help me

Go to autozone or whatever car parts store you prefer and get them to scan your ecu for trouble codes. IT's free and it'll tell you what's wrong.

I just came back from auto zone and got the "P0303" code.

    Definition:
    Cylinder number 3 misfire detected

    Probable cause

    - Vacuum leak affecting
    - Ignition system concern
    - Blocked/faulty fuel injection
    - Engine mechanical condition

So as I said, the park plug was exchanged (btw 3 cylinder is third from the right or from the left so I can check if the mechanical dumbass exchanged the proper one) and the coil was exchanged as well. I also bought some fuel treatment to clean up the fuel system. Actually I purchased two so It may effect the engine faster and better ;)

What should I do next... can be that fixed by myself so I know what I put to the engine? Or the professionalist has to do it?

Only use the same NGK spark plugs that came with the car. All four plugs should be replaced at the same time. Also, it's important that they are gapped to spec. It's best to coat the porcelein portion of the plug and top electrode with a light coating of dielectric grease--this helps prevent misfires. Ensure the new coil is centered directly over the spark plug's electrode.

Hello. I have a 2003 Honda Civic ex manual transimission that has 141500 miles on it.. Its been two days now of a check engine light on and a acceleration issue as if I'm not getting enough fuel between 20-30 mph on freeway.. but after 30 mph it quits... what causes it?

Check for codes. I could easily be a Camshaft Position Sensor or a Crankshaft Position Sensor.
