I am on birth control. Got my cycle on 17th of March. I had unprotected sex with my BF 3 times on the 23rd. I was to start my new pack on the 25th. Was out of town and didn't start until the 1st of April. We also had sex that day 2 times. Could I have gotten pregnant?

Yes. Anytime you have sex, protected or not you could become pregnant. In this particular case, seeing as you missed pills, it is very possible. In order for birth control pills to work correctly, they need to be taken at the same time everyday. One missed dose is all it takes for an accidental conception to occur. I suggest you wait to see if your period comes on schedule. If it is more than a week behind, take a HPT.

Even if you take the pills properly many women get pregnant while on their pills, if the pills are being taken properly, No pill is 100 percent. ( of course I am sure you have discussed that with your doctor and are aware)
