    Overweight and tried everything!
I'm 17 years old and weigh 9st 6ibs at 4ft 11inchs. I've visited many BMI websites all of which state that I am overweight. I've tried many different diets, tried eating healthy, cutting out all bad foods, I even joined the gym and started swimming. Nothing seems to help me lose weight and it's beginning to make me feel low about myself and leaving me feeling depressed. 3 months ago I weighed just over 8st, I don't know what's happened! Someone please help :(

That's somewhat over 126 pounds (for those of us not in the UK). I don't know that that's obese at 4'11" BUT if you believe you are too heavy have you discussed it with a Physician? Many times body type is exactly that... body type and there is little that will change it.

I have not been to a Physician because I don't want to visit them and look stupid. I usually weight around 8st and this is the heaiest I've ever been and it just seems to be increasing.

You won't look stupid - Physician see and hear all sorts of things all the time.

You need to know if there are any physical explanations for your weight gain - other than you are perhaps getting taller and filling out.

A physician can help with your depression, and make sure there are no medical issues, and address them if they are. Then maybe you can enjoy a healthy sex life, with your partner.

All your concerns may be related, and fixed easily, so I highly suggest a check up. Then you can deal with FACTS, and not just feelings.
